01 / BasketsOne token is the whole basket.
A basket is a single token that stands for a fixed mix of coins, for example 40% PONS, 30% HMM, 30% AI. Every basket token is backed 1:1 by real coins locked in the basket's own contract. Hold 1% of the tokens and you own 1% of every coin inside. Nothing is synthetic, nothing is lent out, and no admin key can move the coins.
The mix is set once, when the basket launches, and never changes. The basket does not rebalance: as prices move, the actual split drifts exactly like it would if you held the coins yourself.
See the baskets →02 / SupplyOpen-ended, 1:1 backed.
A basket has no fixed supply. New tokens are created only when someone pays in, and the ETH they pay is turned into coins locked in the basket at that moment. Tokens are destroyed when someone sells or redeems, and the matching coins leave the basket. So the supply grows and shrinks with demand, but every token is always backed by its share of the coins inside. Nobody, including CAPSTOCK, can print basket tokens without putting coins in.
Because of that, the number of tokens does not move the price. What moves the price is the coins inside. Think ETF, not memecoin.
03 / BuyBuying with ETH.
Open a basket and press Trade / Redeem, then Buy. You type an amount of ETH; the contract takes the trade fee, buys every coin in the basket on its Uniswap pool in the right proportion, locks them in the basket, and sends you the matching amount of basket tokens. One transaction.
The popup shows how many tokens you will get, worked out by simulating the real transaction, so slippage is already included. Your slippage setting is the most the market may move against you before the transaction cancels itself. The amount of tokens you get is based on what you actually put in compared to what the basket already holds, never on a price feed, so nobody can dilute you by pushing a price around for one block.
04 / ExitTwo ways out: sell or redeem.
Sell turns your basket tokens back into ETH. The contract takes your tokens, swaps every coin inside back to ETH on Uniswap, takes the trade fee, and sends you ETH. Convenient, but it depends on the pools, so the popup simulates the exact ETH you will get and applies your slippage setting.
Redeem gives you the coins themselves. Your tokens are destroyed and your exact share of every coin is sent to your wallet. No swap, no price feed, no fee, only gas. It works even if every Uniswap pool is empty. If one coin's transfers are broken (paused or blacklisted), you can redeem and skip that coin, so one bad coin can never lock your money.
05 / PriceWhere the basket price comes from.
The basket price you see on every card is simply what the coins inside are worth right now, at live Uniswap prices, divided by the number of basket tokens. It is a display figure and a guide for sizing buys; it never decides how many tokens you get, and redeeming never reads a price at all.
A listed basket also has a second price: what its own Uniswap pool trades at. The two are usually close, because anyone can buy here at the basket price and sell in the pool, or the other way round, whenever they drift apart. That is the arbitrage described below.
USD figures on this site come from Dexscreener quotes and a public ETH/USD feed. They are hints only; every contract call is in ETH and basket tokens. A basket's 24h change is estimated from the coins inside.
Open the market →06 / ArbitrageTwo prices, one basket.
When a basket's Uniswap pool price drifts away from its basket price, the gap is free money for whoever closes it. If the pool is more expensive: buy here at the basket price, then sell those tokens in the pool. If the pool is cheaper: buy in the pool, then sell here (or redeem the coins). Two transactions, no bot needed.
Press Arbitrage on any basket card. The popup compares both prices, tells you which side to buy on, simulates your profit after fees and gas for the size you choose, and walks you through the two steps. It is only enabled when the gap is at least 3%; below that, fees eat the profit. Small pools also limit how much you can take, because your own trade moves the pool price.
Every arbitrage trade is also what keeps the pool price honest, which is why anyone is welcome to do it.
See open gaps →07 / FeesFees.
Two fees exist. A trade fee is taken in ETH on every buy and sell here, paid instantly and split between the basket creator and the platform. A yearly fee is set per basket by its creator, up to the cap, and is taken slowly as a small amount of new basket tokens over time, the same way an ETF charges its expense ratio, with the same creator/platform split. Redeeming costs nothing beyond gas. Trades in the Uniswap pool pay the pool's own swap fee to its liquidity providers, not to the creator.
08 / UniswapTradeable on Uniswap.
A basket token is an ordinary ERC-20, so it can trade on Uniswap like any coin. A basket can open its own BASKET/WETH pool in the same transaction it launches, priced exactly at the basket price, and anyone can add liquidity to that pool later and earn its swap fees. On a basket card, Where it trades shows whether a pool exists.
You can trade a listed basket on Uniswap, Dexscreener or any wallet by pasting its contract address. The Arbitrage popup has a Copy button for it.
09 / LaunchHow a basket starts.
A basket is launched with a list of Robinhood Chain coins that each have a Uniswap pool against WETH, a mix that adds up to 100% (no single coin above the cap), a yearly fee up to the cap, and an opening buy in ETH. The contract creates the basket and makes that first purchase in the same transaction, so a basket is never live but empty. A tiny amount of the first tokens is locked forever so the supply can never be drained to nothing.
The coins, the mix and the pools are written into the basket once. Later changes to platform settings cannot touch a basket that already exists.
